**Role Description**

The UK team at Tensing is on the lookout for someone who wants to be part of a team that has a passion for supporting users with GIS data challenges, solving tricky data transformations and simplifying complex workflows.

This UK-based role is predominantly remote with visits to the London office (Baker Street), around once every month or two, team meetings face to face at least twice a year, as well as client offices and industry events as required.

**Your role and responsibilities**
- Support the administration of GIS systems, user management, system monitoring, and updates;
- Assist with the development of user guides and critically review support materials;
- Manage end-user support requests;
- Identify pain points in clients' data workflows and propose new solutions;
- Build remarkable FME Workspaces that make data fit for purpose, simplify workflows and automate data management tasks;
- Review and suggest code enhancements;
**Skills and experience we are after**
Around 2 years experience in the industry using geospatial software including:

- FME
- Esri ArcGIS Platform solutions (ArcPro, QuickCapture, Survey123, Web AppBuilder / Experience Builder)
- Fundamental developer skills (python preferred)
- Ability to communicate complex GIS information clearly to non-GIS users.

**Additional Requirements / Expectations**
With support from the business and the existing experienced team in the UK and further afield:

- Be prepared to undertake SC security clearance.
- Attain FME Professional Certification within the first 3 months.
- Be awarded FME Flow Certification within the following 6 months.

We're particularly keen to see any innovative solutions you've recently developed in a Workspace, whether they're applied to a specific problem, or involve experimenting with the latest transformers or tools. It would be brilliant to see one or two Workspaces that truly highlight your abilities. Don't fret if it's nothing extravagant, we aren't expecting you to spend hours on it and if you require a trial licence, we can arrange that for you.
