**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant Apprentice. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a wholesale environment while working towards a recognized qualification. As a Sales Assistant Apprentice, you will be an integral part of our sales and customer service team, responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, processing orders, and handling customer inquiries.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Communication**:
- Answer incoming calls from customers, addressing inquiries and providing product information.
- Assist with handling customer queries and resolving any issues or concerns efficiently. **Order Processing**:
- Accurately process customer orders through our internal systems.
- Verify order details and ensure timely and correct fulfilment.
- Communicate with customers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and any special requirements.
- **Sales Support**:
- Assist the sales team with day-to-day tasks, including maintaining customer records.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and stock availability.
- Support in the preparation of sales reports and documentation
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information in the database.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales materials and catalogs.
- Help with the organization and filing of sales documents.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Follow up on customer orders and inquiries to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- **Learning and Development**:
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of products, systems, and sales techniques.
- Continuously seek feedback and strive to improve your performance and understanding of the wholesale industry.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- No specific educational qualifications are required, but a good standard of literacy and numeracy is preferred.
- A strong interest in learning and developing a career in sales and customer service.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- **Experience**:
- No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
- Any experience in customer service or sales roles is a plus.
