A Site / Contracts Manager is required to work on a broad range of construction services from planning to design and construction of commercial and residential projects, our client specialises in the design and installation of mezzanine floors, cleanrooms,and office interiors. With over 35 years successful of business, and with the company owned and ran by the directors who are very actively engaged in all aspects of the business.

They are looking to recruit someone new due to the ongoing success of the expanding business. With further work in the pipeline, they want to even the workload between the workforce to achieve good quality finished projects.

**Site / Contacts Manager - position overview**

This role will include the main duties of a Site Manager with a few cross overs with Contracts Manager role, working on-site and in an office.
- Liaising with clients and reporting on progress.
- Preparing tenders for clients
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the client
- Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors.
- Buying materials for each phase of the project.
- Monitoring build costs and project progress.
- Conducting quality and safety inspections
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Motivating the workforce
- Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
- Using specialist project management computer programmes
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients

**Site / Contracts Manager - Position Requirements**
- Knowledge of building and construction
- Excellent time management and leadership skills
- Business management skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
- An understanding of legal documentation
- Maths and IT knowledge (Microsoft Project, Excel, etc)

**Site / Contracts Manager - Position Remuneration**
- Salary, Depending on experience - £50,000 - £55,000
- Monday - Friday
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
