Responsible for the operational management and effective implementation of the
years 3,4&5 OSCE assessments within partner LEPs.

Lead the school MLA CPSA process with the support of the Academic Lead for
Medical Undergraduate Assessment Delivery liaising with the GMC and MSC where
required.

Plan, develop and implement the delivery of OSCE assessments in years 3,4&5

Work closely with the School of Medicine Assessment Lead and assessment team.

Contribute to OSCE station writing

Lead OSCE examinations: emendation, assessment criteria, external examiner
contributions and examination marking.

Contribute to examination boards and progress decisions.

Contribute to teaching on the MBChB programme

Supporting the Undergraduate Programme Lead in the continuous development of
school specific strategies and plans.

Attend the Medical Schools Council Assessment Alliance when required
contributing to subsequent assessment training activities within the School.

- Provide academic leadership to assuring the currency and relevance of the

curriculum and provision of opportunities for the development of employability
and related graduate attributes.
- Lead implementation of new developments across the programme that ensure

innovation and good practice in learning, teaching and assessment and
continuous improvement of student performance.
- Liaise with the GMC to ensure ongoing compliance with all requirements to

achieve and maintain accredited status. Advising the University of any changes

to accreditation status.
- Undertake an active role in a variety of key committees within the School

governance structure.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Student Representatives as

part of gathering and responding to student feedback.
- Liaise effectively with external examiners and respond to feedback as

appropriate to support the continual development of the programme and
curriculum.
- Engage effectively in recruitment activities, including admissions, summer

schools and multi-mini interviews to support selecting for excellence and
widening participation.

- Design, plan, review and innovate in activities and materials that support
