**The Vacancy**

**12 month Fixed Term Contract**

MOLA is seeking to recruit a trainee Ceramic Building Material specialist on an initial 12 month contract to join our specialist and post-excavation team based in London.

You will also assist more senior specialists with their projects and in their day-to-day work, and will receive appropriate training and support to take responsibility for your own projects. This will involve researching CBM assemblages from developer-funded excavations and contributing to a range of other MOLA Research activities. This may include opportunities to establish or build upon your own research interests and to contribute towards the development of grant-funded research projects.

Following probation, and at successful completion of the training contract, it hoped that the trainee will be able to progress into a **permanent** position at MOLA, should the future work programme support this.
