A school in Gateshead, NE8, are looking for a talented Primary Interventions Tutor to work on a full-time basis with them for the Autumn term.

**About the role**:
The Primary Interventions Tutor will be working with children from Year 1 - Year 6, where some pupils have SEND and/or lower attainment. The chosen teacher will be devising and delivering intervention sessions to pupils within the groups (ratio 1:6), as part of the National Tutoring Programme. The role will also include working closely with the class teachers in these year groups to monitor progress of pupils, and to identify the gaps in learning/where the pupils need extra support. Days and hours for this role will be Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Primary Interventions Tutor (Full-time) you will:

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- QTS
