We are looking for enthusiastic researchers to work on an exciting Wellcome funded project examining predictors and consequences of youth mental health in real time.

**The Opportunity**:
Applications are invited for a research assistant poss focused on preparing, collecting, cleaning and analysing new mental health data from two large cohort studies: The Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) and the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS).

The successful applicants will work with the PI and other team members to set up a novel and one-of-a-kind study collecting daily mental health data through smartphones in the ALSPAC and TEDS studies. The successful applicants will be responsible for obtaining ethical approval, prepping for data collection, working with the ALSPAC and TEDS teams to facilitate data collection, data cleaning and analysis of the data ready for publication. Alongside this, the successful applicants will work with the study PI to set up and manage a lived experience advisory group to help guide the research and dissemination of results.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Experience of collecting mental health data
- Experience of working with Stata, R or other statistical data packages
- Experience of working within mental health research and/or with people with lived experience of poorer mental health
- Excellent management and organisational skills
- Experience of working effectively within a team and ability to work independently
