Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a role with a difference?

This is a rare opportunity that will see you join an esteemed Music Management Group with business interests that include Artist Management, Music Publishing and a Record Label.

This small but punchy business has a strong footprint in the UK & US and can boast some iconic Artists and Bands, with huge global fanbases, as their clients. As a result of some recent growth, they are looking now to add an experienced finance individual to their team.

With a great reputation and strong core values that resonate throughout everything they do, this established business is looking for a team member who takes pride in their work and wants to join a collaborative and friendly team and will share their values.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will increase the finance team to 3 and will support all aspects of the business including client accounts. Due to being an SME you will be required to roll your sleeves up and happily get stuck in. You will have great attention to detail, a great work ethic and excellent communication & interpersonal skills as you will need to liaise with the Artists/Clients.

**Responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Maintain accurate financial records
- All aspects of Sales & Purchase ledger management
- Client account preparation and reconciliation
- Payment runs (client/artist and company)
- Bank Reconciliations
- Royalty calculation, reconciliation and statements
- Record Label & Music Publishing accounts
- Financial analysis
- HMRC, VAT and tax duties
- Ensure timely receipt of payments
- At least 2 years relevant experience, ideally with exposure to Music/Entertainment industry
- Self motivated, great team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Logical, flexible and adaptable
- Great attention to detail, able to multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Approachable and friendly who is at ease building a rapport with others
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of Quickbooks would be an advantage

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
