As part of our journey, we are currently seeking to appoint an Assembly Operator to work at our Dudley location on Hurst Business Park, Brierley Hill.

Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor and working on the shop floor with up to 30 staff, your duties will include assembling units and packaging consumables to meet customer orders. This involves following process instructions, using a variety of hand held tools, handling both metal and plastic components carrying out basic electrical wiring configurations. You need to ensure you operate safely, work to the required quality standards and work diligently in order to meet production targets. The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks to be carried out from time to time.

**Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities**
- Display the 3 fundamental areas of focus at all times - Health & Safety, Quality and Target awareness.
- Work only as trained, utilising the OPC’s assigned to the shop floor area you are deployed to
- Work swiftly, methodically, accurately and in a controlled manner
- Demonstrate dexterous handling of small assembly components
- Record relevant information in full on documentation accurately and eligibly
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues/team on promoting a continuous improvement mentality that generates ideas all year round helping to drive H&S, service or cost improvement

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm.
