**What will you do & what will you need**

As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to. Be accountable for Legal o-license compliance and for Operational excellence ie cost and service including Peak planning/delivery. Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions/ escalation of live issues. The monitoring of all routes ensuring all routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate. Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Kronos exceptions & Schedules. Conduct Daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries holidays etc.

**Ideally, you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment, be PC literate with word and excel experience and have great attention to detail.**

Gist **Spalding** is the largest site within Gist’s Temperature Controlled Logistics site network, which manages the transportation of food products from the manufacturer into the retail network. A significant proportion of our Temperature Controlled Logistics network requires temperature control. The site opened in 1992 and services approximately 95 individual suppliers. With up to 200 loads per day and in-bound product from across the UK and the Netherlands, Gist Spalding is one of the busiest transport operations in our site network.
