Senior Payroll Support Advisor

Due to continual growth, we have an exciting new opportunity for a **Senior Payroll Support Advisor** to join our busy finance team. It is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the Amazing Hatfield Head offices and 3 days working from home

The **Senior Payroll Support Team Advisor** will provide support to the Payroll Support Team Lead, Payroll Team and all the associated customers.

This role is an essential role in supporting the customer services experience, with the customer across all Payroll interactions. It will be varied, fast-paced and requires someone who can be proactive, eager to learn and someone who can adapt priorities at short notice depending on the business need.

The **Payroll Support Team Senior Advisor** will maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders:

- Payroll advisors
- Payroll Support Team
- Employees
- HR
- Team managers
- External stakeholders (HMRC etc)

The nature of the position involves actively participating across all levels of the organisation

**What else will you be doing?**
- Assisting with queries and effective triage of these and responding to them within the agreed SLAs.
- Feeding back any triage inaccuracies and supporting any Regional Teams with training or feedback of any triage inaccuracies.
- Assisting the Team Leader to achieve required SLAs across the team by directing and monitoring team caseloads.
- Integrating with the Payroll Advisors to resolve queries where necessary
- Supporting the payroll team with Administration duties and delegate this effectively across the Payroll Support Team.
- Creating a world class customer service experience
- Assist in the management or post and ensure these are sent to the correct team members for processing
- Assisting with the PST Leader on preparing KPIs to the business
- Assisting with Business Stakeholder meetings and preparing data if required
- Lead in the absence of the Payroll Support Team Lead
- Reporting on Dashboards to the wider Payroll Department & Onsite HR Team
- Assist in escalation management if needed.

- Customer services skills are essential in a fast paced environment
- Basic HR and Payroll knowledge
- A high level of confidentiality and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail under pressure & working with high volumes
- Able to motivate themselves and the team and to sets stretching and ambitious targets for themselves and ensuring excellent delivery.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with people at all levels across the business - internally and externally.
- Highly organised with a natural ability to prioritise.
- Flexibility and the willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to foresee and demonstrate possible resource issues and assist with the effective resource planning of the PST.
- Has a track record of demonstrating Ocado values.

**Experience and Qualifications needed**
- Worked within a HR or Payroll team shared services function
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Experience of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or ServiceNow) - preferred
