Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms
Industry Sector: Bathrooms, Baths, Radiators, Mirrors, Accessories, Showers, Taps, WC’s & Bidets, Basins, Independent Retailers, Plumbers Merchants, Buying Groups, KBB and Bathroom Industry
Area to be covered: London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk & Home Counties
Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 Neg. + £18,000 Commission/ Bonus
Benefits: Hybrid or electric car & benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms will involve:
- Field sales position selling our clients mid-premium manufactured range of bathrooms
- Responsible for 500-600 accounts, although you will only call on approx. 100 of these
- 50% Independent retailers, 30% buying group members and the remainder plumbers merchants and some national merchants
- 95% account management led role
- Responsible for gaining commitment in respect of point of sale displays
- Responsible for £3m ledger
- Circa 50% sold to direct customers and 50% through distribution
- Inheriting an area achieving well against budget expectation, only available due to an internal promotion
- Promoting three different ranges (2 x med-high end) and a more affordable luxury range
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Bathrooms with:
- Field sales experience from the bathroom industry (open to KBB sector)
- Must have sold into independent retail showrooms, buying groups or plumbers merchants
- Fire in the belly
- Capable of treating the area as if it was your own franchise/ business
- Autonomous in approach and excellent communicator
- Good presentation skills
