As a vital team member, the HR Assistant will assume a central role, actively engaging in the entire spectrum of HR responsibilities. This encompasses crucial tasks such as employee onboarding and offboarding, as well as hands-on involvement in employee relations and payroll administration. This varied role presents an opportunity for exposure to all aspects of HR work, allowing for professional growth and development opportunities.
The role may require travel between sites from time to time, therefore a full driving licence is essential.
**Overview**:
- Salary £24,500 to £27,000 depending on experience
- Permanent, full-time position - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Long established, employee-owned business
**Requirements for the role**:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification
- Minimum of 2 years working in an administrative role
- Full driving licence
**Duties for the HR Assistant will include**:
- Assisting with all aspects of the employee lifecycle including all starter and leaver processes
- Ensuring all employee records are maintained with accurate & up to date information
- Communication of HR policies and procedures to the wider business
- Prepare and generate HR related reports for management as needed
- Update training records including reporting on employee training and development activities
- Assisting with the payroll and pension processes on a monthly basis
- Supporting on ad hoc HR related projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A flexible approach to duties and tasks with the ability to manage competing tasks
- Ambitious outlook with a willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
