We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Underwriter within our Pricing Team at AXA Health. The Pricing Underwriter will provide technical pricing support for sales account managers and other internal and external customers, which will encompass the delivery of pricing renewals through trend analysis and justification of terms to assist in the negotiation process.

At AXA we're adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Bristol or Tunbridge Wells office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. In this role, you will be required to be in the office up to 2 days per week, more initially during the training and induction period. We are also happy to consider this role on a part-time basis but we're happy to discuss flexibility.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Managing a portfolio of large corporate renewals where you'll be negotiating and monitoring the performance
- Assess the risk and underwrite Large Corporate clients, where you will use your skills to support our Sales colleagues in the renewal of our existing business, and with our potential new business clients
- Get involved in various exciting new pricing projects
- In the longer trm, support with the training for new team members and assist with the pricing training of sales colleagues.
- Provide excellent service and promote the business through a polite, helpful and willing attitude to both external and internal customers

**Qualifications**:

- Be a logical thinker with an analytical mind, and an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working in a similar role and have some experience or knowledge in Insurance is preferred.
- You'll be a natural with numbers and have experience working with Microsoft tools such as Excel.
- Relationships are key to this role, so you will work well as part of a wider team, and also have an ability to build rapport with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Although not essential, an understanding of the Health Insurance market and elements of risk relating to a corporate client would be highly advantageous.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
