Sales Director Emea

**Key responsibilities**:
- Delivery of regional bookings, revenue and margin targets
- Management of existing customer accounts to increase long term revenue generation
- Extend reach in our current markets by identifying and targeting new customers
- Generate the regional sales strategy to support the above
- Identify and penetrate new markets for Alphasense products by assessing opportunity, developing the product and marketing strategy with the Alphasense team and gaining revenue share
- Engage with customers and industry leaders to identify market trends and drive new product direction
- Act as a coach to develop competence within the sales team
- Provide detailed regional sales data to understand performance and identify opportunities
- Minimum of 10 years experience in an increasingly senior sales roles including sales of engineered products in B to B environments
- Able to demonstrate delivery of targets including significant sales growth in previous roles
- Experience of managing sales and business development across a global region including multiple countries and cultures
- Ability to learn new product technologies and markets rapidly
- Demonstratable skills in identifying, developing and penetrating adjacent market opportunities
- Excellent relationship builder in a global organisation
- Highly motivated and able to self manage
- Prior knowledge of gas sensors, instruments or chemistry an advantag
