Here at Pendragon, we’re going through a period of exciting transformation and we’re looking for a Head of Revenue Optimisation to help shape our future.
You will report directly into the Director of Digital Marketing Transformation & Customer Retention, leading a team of digital professionals. As Head of Revenue Optimisation, you will be responsible for the maximisation of on-site conversion and revenue opportunities, and effective measurement of optimisation efforts. You will play a lead role in shaping and implementing a data enablement and utilisation strategy: collecting, connecting and surfacing data to enable the digital team to drive relevant traffic, optimise spend and increase conversion and revenue opportunities.
As Head of Revenue Optimisation, you’ll be accountable for the design and implementation of strategies for online customer journey and experience improvement, which will encompass development of content, merchandising and UX.,
**What you’ll be responsible for in your role**:
- You’ll be fully accountable for the ongoing online conversion rate optimisation strategy, driving revenue through improved customer experience
- You’ll take ownership of ensuring the websites deliver best practice UX, UI and content (eg videos, blogs, FAQs) to ensure optimal customer journeys and leverage conversion opportunities, working closely with the Senior Digital Product Manager and Digital Content Leader
- You’ll help to shape the digital roadmap, encompassing technology and data requirements as well as website change
- You’ll lead your team to establish an implement best practice merchandising to enhance customer experience and conversion
- You will establish robust test and learn merchandising and CRO strategies, effectively measuring results and actioning or planning required changes to rollout best tests. Additionally you will take ownership for exploring how AI and machine learning capabilities could be used to further enhance customer experiences and conversion
- Working closely across the Digital and Retention team, you’ll identify opportunities to drive revenue and conversion through the utilisation of data and on-site customer support enhancements
**Do you have what it takes to be a Pendragon Associate? What we’re looking for**:
- You’ll have experience of leading and developing high performance teams, and will have worked within a business reliant on lead generation to drive revenue
- You’ll have a solid understanding of best practice merchandising, UX, UI and digital content, and have proven experience of the development of test and learn improvement programmes
- You’ll be a great communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills and will be able to comprehensively explain complex / technical concepts in a way that everyone can understand
- You will have a robust digital background with knowledge of digital technologies, customer interactions, and the opportunities which digital and customer data present
- You’ll be a commercially driven individual, with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo
- You’ll be adeptly be able to balance strategic planning with operational delivery
