Technical Sales Executive (Aftersales)

Westbury, Wiltshire

Technical sales executive required for a manufacturing company who operate on a global scale who have considerable investment and plans for significant growth. They are market leaders for innovation and are well renowned within their niche industry.

This role would suit confident sales professional that has experience in a sales and customer facing role. You will need to have experience with negotiation of contracts and prices with clients and suppliers. You will need to be able to create a good rapportand relationship with customers and suppliers. There will be travel required, within the UK and abroad if necessary.

The role responsibilities include, managing existing customer and lapsed customer portfolios, identifying, and securing new business and accounts, this will include customer site visits and technical discussions. You will be required to provide any requiredinformation to internal and external departments (finance, production, engineering, customer) within deadlines. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of ASL services/ products and have a clear understanding of the main influences/ key features to ensurecustomer needs are fully met. You will be in control of all elements of customer financial management, ensuring that commercial quote/ order conditions are acceptable to the company; through professional negotiation of terms including written confirmationof sales.

The role:
*Manage existing and lapsed customer portfolios in line with the business plan

*Generating leads/ identifying new business opportunities for the company

*Control all elements of customer financial management, ensuring quotes/ order conditions are acceptable to the company

*Give and receive information of account activity, market and competitor activity and best practice learnings

*Travelling to customer sites for visits and technical discussions when required

The Person:
*Confident in negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers

*Experience within a sales/ customer facing role

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Willing to travel within the UK and abroad when required
