Childrens Residential Support Worker

If so, we could have the role for you The Resourcing Hub are currently working on behalf of their client a Residential Children's provider in the Midland's area, who are looking for Residential Support Workers to join their 4 bedded EBD home This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward-thinking organisation, who put children at the forefront of everything that they do
- No previous experience is necessary, just a passion to work with young people _
**No two days are the same in residential care but your standard duties may include**:
- Assessing each young person’s needs and progress.
- Creating a safe and positive living environment.
- Setting boundaries for young people's behaviour.
- Offering one-to-one key working sessions or leading group therapy sessions.
- Providing leisure and creative activities for the young people.
- Teaching daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc.
- Helping the young people deal with day-to-day issues and prepare for independence.
- Keeping accurate records and writing reports.
- Liaising with the young people’s families/ friends.
- Working with other health and care professionals such as Social Worker’s, Teacher, Doctors etc.

- Attention to detail, ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork.
**Please note, due to the location we are looking for car drivers only.**
**Working hours**:
1 day on & two day's off pattern
8am-11pm with sleep in £57 (salary advertised is inclusive of sleep in's, overtime should however be available)
**Benefits**:
- There is also an annual bonus on offer of £1,000 paid before Christmas (pro rata depending on your joining date)
- They will also pay15p per mile towards petrol costs every month
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £21,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
