We are in urgent need for comitted & passionate Primary Teaching Assistants to work across Caerphilly for learners in Foundation Phase & Key Stage 2 and as a result we are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around Caerphilly who are experienced in these roles.

**Overview**:

- Title: Teaching Assistant*
- Pay: £69.20 per day minimum*
- Location: Caerphilly*
- Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm*

**The role: What you’ll be doing as a Teaching Assistant**

Supporting and supervising educational games, sports and craft activities Helping children with their reading
- Preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with pupils in small groups/ and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist pupils at break time with their lunch

Engage pupils in the classroom and out of classroom activities Work in accordance to the schools behaviour management policies

At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 7-32 per week

**Salary**: £69.20-£78.04 per day
