Works with HR Business Partner teams to support the delivery of the people agenda for specific business functions at Santander UK, working with the business to ensure engagement with agenda. Builds collaborative relationships with the Business Areas, identifying current and future people related opportunities, challenges and risks and contributes to the delivery of initiatives providing a seamless customer experience.
Supports BAU activity within the allocated business areas, working with stakeholders and providing on-going support to the BP teams. Performs defined tasks and analysis to contribute to wider HR and BP team initiatives and activities which encompass the full range of HR disciplines.
**The difference you’ll make**:
- Providing excellent customer care / service by offering guidance and advice on queries, received via telephone or AskHR, from both Managers and Employees
- Providing a seamless end to end case management service for the customer (from early intervention, up to conclusion) with knowledge across various aspects of HR Policy, including Absence, Disciplinary (including for Senior Managers and Certification Regime for certified roles), Grievance and Performance
- Being part of a collaborative team, sharing knowledge to deal with end-to-end case management of complex cases within agreed SLA’s
- Taking personal responsibility to ensure you are fully cross skilled, keeping up to date on both Employment Law and changes to legislation and sharing own knowledge with peers
- Coaching and upskilling line managers across the spectrum of HR policies to support them in managing their people
- Building and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including AoEs, Business Leads, Divisional reps and HRBP’s
**What you’ll bring**:
- A strong and broad understanding of HR processes and practices with experience of providing expert advice to line managers (end-to-end case management)
- Understanding of UK employment law relating to case management and associated risks with a knowledge of case management software, ideally Oracle Service Cloud/Now/Workday
**It would also be nice for you to have**:
- Ideally Degree or equivalent
- CIPD qualified or equivalent - Level 5 (preferred)
- Experience of case management including conduct rule and certification requirements as per the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.

This role is a 12 month FTC based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.
