**The position**:
We are looking for a **Gardener **to join our team at** Piran Meadows Resort **in **Newquay, Cornwall. **_Fantastic hourly rate of £9.80_

This is a** sick cover **position to work **full time** hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 days which will be Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

**Main responsibilities**:
The successful Gardener will
- Respond to requests from guests on site.
- Assist the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the resort is kept up to its five start standard.
- Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging and weeding borders and also clearing pathways.
- Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.

**Requirements**:
Previous horticultural experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and strong communication skills is desired. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles.
