**Project Build Fitter**

We are working with a well-established organisation who have been trading for over 30 years and they specialise end-to-end service covers everything from one-off bespoke tools to life saving medical machinery. We are now looking for an experienced Project Build Fitter to join this fast moving company in Lancashire.

**Key requirements required of the Project Build Fitter**:

- Practical experience of complex mechanical systems is required
- Assist in the generation of appropriate information as required for contractor or sub-contractor personnel
- Liaise with project build team leader and project build charge hands to ensure contractual and quality requirement is within the schedule are maintained, through assembly as required to project completion.
- Compliance with company procedures and policies
- City and Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Time served apprenticeship

The successful Project Build Fitter will lead multi-discipline design teams to produce the designs for plant and equipment. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. In return my client will reward the Project Build Fitter with an excellent basic salary and company benefits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £31,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chorley, PR7 1NN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical systems: 3 years (preferred)
- City and Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering: 3 years (preferred)
- contractor or sub-contractor: 3 years (preferred)
