We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our HR Operations team as a Benefits Associate based in Leeds. This role is important as you'll be acting as the first point of contact for benefits queries from employees. You'll also be responsible for supporting the roll-out and maintenance of our benefits in a rapidly-growing business.

What will you be doing?

As a Benefits Associate within this team, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Acting as the first point of contact for employee benefits queries, ensuring that all queries are responded to promptly or escalated where needed

Working closely with external benefits contacts on any queries that need their support working to a prompt resolution and passing the information on to internal teams / employees as appropriate

Owning the monthly upload of employee information into our benefits system, ensuring that Excel reports are fully accurate and submitted on time

Working with the Payroll and Benefits Team Lead to support the processing of benefits in payroll accurately and on time for monthly cut-offs

Maintaining a complete and up-to-date record of all our benefits information, policies, renewal documents, contacts, and log-ins on our Payroll SharePoint

Confidently running benefits presentations in the monthly Company induction for all new starters across the wider business and on an ad-hoc basis as required

Working closely with the finance team to ensure all supplier invoices are correctly coded and paid on time

Working closely with the Wellbeing Lead, Programme team, and M&A specialist to support on any communications covering our benefits

Providing administrative support to the team working on annual renewal of benefits across the UK

Supporting the wider payroll team with general administration including maintaining organised Payroll files to ensure accurate records are always available

Providing ad-hoc support to the payroll and benefits team as required

Developing a basic understanding of the wider benefits market including vendor/carrier markets, products, services, and tools through participation in training courses, online learning, and learning from more experienced colleagues

Maintaining strict confidentiality of all payroll/benefits data as well as GDPR compliance.

We're looking for someone with the following skills, competencies and experience:
Outstanding attention to detail

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

Good Excel and IT skills (Pivots, Lookups, ability to pick up new systems quickly)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

Ability to confidently present to employees of all levels

Enjoys working as part of a team.
