In this role you will be focused on the mid-long term strategy ofpackaging innovation, sustainability and development in the UK and Globally.

This is an opportunity to join a powerhouse name in the beverage industry, they have a culture centered around creativity, ambition and growth. They are looking for a strong people leader and someone who is up to date with the latest packaging trends andtechnological innovations. This role is based from their London office however it sits in their Global team so it will involve communication and travel overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build packaging capabilities globally, developing teams spread across the region.
- Propose and develop mid-long term packaging strategy, aligning with consumer needs.
- Explore new packaging innovation opportunities including materials, design, convenience etc.
- Provide full technical packaging expertise to the business.
- Take the lead on new technology research programmes, including technology that could bring cost improvement.
- Manage the Packaging Budget.
- Deliver sustainable and packaging innovation and development projects.

Key Requirements:

- Degree level educated in Engineering, Packaging, Industrial, Chemical or similar
- Excellent Packaging background from Food, Beverage, FMCG or similar
- Will be experienced in developing and implementing mid-long term strategy
- Strong experience leading and developing teams
- Ideally will have worked as part of a Global team previously
- Passionate about Packaging Innovation and New Technology
- Must be ok with International Travel
