**Test Automation Engineering Lead - Banking - Brussels**

**Duration: 1 year**

**Rate: €700 - €800 pd**

**Hybrid Working - 4 days onsite per month, the rest you can work remote**

We are looking for an exceptional Test Automation Lead on a freelance contract for 1 year.
- Creating and leading a Test Automation Engineering Team spread over several locations
- Managing relationship with all delivery and testing teams (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) across the group
- Managing relationship with external partners (tools, experts,...)
- Actively promoting the adoption of test automation : supporting??test automation pilots, sharing successes, improving from retrospective, providing meaningful measures
- Providing Test Automation Transversal services : being recognised as test automation expert, standardising practices, managing test automation framework and artefacts, being the center of innovation for Automation

**R&R**
- **Manage a team of Test Automation Engineers** providing test automation transversal services to the delivery and testing teams of multiple entities of the group (working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid mode)?:

- **Define?the Group?Test Automation Strategy**, lead test automation key transversal decisions
- Establish and adopt a Target Operating Model (TOM) sustaining this vision.
- **Build and lead the Test Automation Engineering team** (various locations)
- Own the Test Automation Framework and lead its implementation plan, adopting an Agile delivery approach, providing regular values to delivery/testing team of the group.
- Tools recommendations/choices,
- Architectural/design choices,
- Infrastructure needs
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities and constraints in term of test automation. Educate them to understand the benefits of test automation and support them to identify opportunities
- Establish and adopt a collaboration model with the delivery and testing team compatible with all the delivery modes of Euroclear group
- Support them to run test automation pilots for new patterns and standardise practices from retrospective and successes
- Share experiences, practices & standards for existing patterns
- Establish and adopt a collaboration model with the teams supporting the test automation, optimising the time
- Manage the Group view of the Test Automation coverage and the Test Automation Roadmap. Manage related investments, benefits, capacity, delivery plan, metrics. Consider continuous improvements and innovation. Build and drive the Test automation change ManagementPlan
- Create and maintain relevant test automation knowledge and competencies in the team and in delivery/testing teams. Oversee, develop and ensure adherence to industry best practice?standards

- Experience required in the following areas?:

- Track record in the definition of a test automation strategy in the context of a Test Transformation initiative
- Team leading of test automation engineers
- Hands-on experience in coding/scripting?: UFT, RPA, Selenium, codedUI,?Cucumber?,
- Track records in Automation journey
- Contribution to Testing Tooling Strategy
- Mastering testing phases, types and the related challenges through close collaboration to testing activities
- Development of business cases
- Proven working experience with multi locations including Offshore
- Preferably Finance sector
