**The Role**

As an experienced test architect you will be responsible for the overall quality of our products. You will be instrumental in setting up our testing department and in future lead the technical direction of the Test & Automation team. You will be working closely with the development team to help refine our testing framework, introduce QA best practices and ensure the software architecture is implemented with a “quality-first” attitude..

Your day-by-day work will be working closely with the Engineering Manager of the Test & Automation team along with the engineering teams to create and deploy a testing framework that makes it easy to add and monitor tests.

Expanding the capabilities framework to ensure the development teams own the tests.

**Role Duties**:

- Introduce best practices for QA processes, ensuring QA becomes integral part of product development.
- Oversee and architect automated quality assurance: introduce metrics, industry best practices along with developing of new tools and processes to ensure highest release qualities.
- Key contact for all Automated QA aspects, release coordination and maintenance.
- Technical lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and QA.
- Setting up an Automated testing framework, using dependable technology, capable of testing multiple products, across multiple platforms and covering: system, functional, non functional tests, along release maintenance.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager of the Test Automation team to define a concrete roadmap as required by the products, while focusing on the technical aspects.
- Testing framework needs to provide the ability to utilise both automated and manual approaches, as some products will have complex UI interactions.
