We deliver straightforward connections throughout the UK and hold the relevant licenses that allow us to adopt regulated utilities on new developments.
We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Billings team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Services (Billing), the role is responsible for the day to day administration and support to our Customer Operations teams, who deal with a portfolio of domestic and commercial customers. The role covers a mix of general administration within the team and system support for tariffs and bulk bills.
**PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all billing aspects of a dedicated portfolio of 30-60 sites, representing £500K~£1M in monthly invoices
- Manage the automated invoiced exception queues
- Adhoc charge allocation to customers’ accounts
- Handling queries via Freshdesk, liaising with customers, suppliers and internal users as required.
- Monthly tariff administration for variable tariffs
- Communicate with internal and external clients to resolve billing questions
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Good core IT skills inclusive of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Mail Merge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good inter-personal skills and the ability to respond to verbal and written queries across Leep Utilities portfolio of sites in an efficient and effective manner
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactively builds on-going relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Ability to adapt as priorities/demands change and initiate actions.
- Flexible and professional approach.
- Good communicator who can provide clear and articulated responses to customers in all situations.
