Ramside Hall Hotel are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to come and join our team.

Just a 5 minute drive from the historic city of Durham, Ramside Hall Hotel offers 127 luxurious bedrooms and suites, as well as our exclusive Treehouses, each offering its own unique charm with stunning views across 350 acres of beautiful private grounds.

Ramside is also home to some of the very best restaurants in County Durham, including our award winning Rib Room Steakhouse, Pan-Asian restaurant Fusion and new concept restaurant Charcoa.

As the successful Bar Supervisor, you will be responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the bar and team operate efficiently and company standards are met
- To support team members during service including taking serving over the bar, taking orders, hosting and food delivery
- Supervise the bar team with the ability to motivate & support
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- To actively work with other departments to ensure that guests have the best experience
- To deal with any customer feedback or complaints and report any service or quality issues
- To train, develop and coach team members
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Check customers identification and confirm that it meets the legal drinking age
- Accurately taking payments including cash, card and room transfers
- Remain customer focused and provide an excellent guest experience
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with management and colleagues in order to promote effective team working.
- Assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

You will open/close the bar, serve customers, develop menus and product selection, maintain and order stock and ensure the bar areas are cleaned and maintained to our excellent standards.

But most importantly you will ensure our guests receive the highest level of customer service, so they come back time and time again.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within luxury hotel. You will have excellent leadership and people skills with previous experience of supervising/managing a team.

In addition you will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and be able to lead by example in delivering exceptional levels of service**.**

But most importantly you will have a passion for customer service, and enjoy providing a memorable service.

Full time and part time positions are available. Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Due to the nature of the job, we can only accept applicants aged 18 and over.
