HR Business Partner

HRLife are delighted to be working exclusively with a growing SME business to recruit their first in-house HR Business Partner on a part time basis - working either 3 or 4 days a week with flexibility on hours /working pattern. This is a great opportunityfor someone who loves being visible, making a difference and carrying out a broad generalist role. Based in the office 2-3 days a week, you will be working closely with the UK Leadership team to build a high performing culture with a diverse and engaged workforce.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Reporting to the UK MD, you will be creating and shaping the people strategy and embedding it into the multi-site workforce
- Working as a business partner, you’ll be supporting and working closely with managers to help them get the best out of their people
- Providing guidance and support to managers on restructuring and organisational change, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Managing the recruitment process to include selection, test administration, references and right to work checks both operational and corporate positions
- Monitor and provide the right documentation for the applicant tracking system, ensuring all job postings are updated and promoted
- Overseeing the performance management system for the UK business
- Supporting managers with HR processes such as recruitment, selection, objective setting, performance management, talent identification and management, employee relations issues, change management and compensation
- Dealing with all employee questions on matters related to career development, internal mobility and corporate policies and procedures
- Ensure corporate policies and programs are implemented and embedded
- Overseeing all Health and Safety issues
- Supporting the business to achieve various awards and IIP status
- Participating in continuous improvement, training and innovation initiatives
- Perform other ad-hoc HR duties
