**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced **Sales Administrator**to assist and support the Sales Account Managers, by ensuring all the Sales Orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner, making sure we adhere to all customer lead times andbusiness cut off times.
You will carry out all general administration relating to pricing, order management, whilst keeping within the Company’s credit agreement and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
**Your key responsibilities as our Sales Administrator will include**:
- Process EDI orders and deal with any exceptions.
- Download orders received via customer websites and manually input.
- Check websites for out of date orders and chase with warehouse.Extend delivery dates where relevant.
- Check, chase and allocate stock.
- Deal with allocations of promotional lines and new ranges.
- Chase deliveries and deal with customer queries.Report issues to the warehouse.
- Process Pattern Room orders for POS, samples, boards and flappers.
- Process orders for Pattern Book stock to send to the Book Makers.
- Input and maintenance of all pricing records, by account and by groups of customers.
- Input all customer SKU codes so these appear on all documentation.
- Deal with pricing queries and raise the necessary credits.
- Manage back orders and ensure these are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Daily Checks of orders to ensure orders are progressed through to picking as soon as possible.
- Customer reports i.e. shipped reports to update customers of late or cancelled orders.
- Manage paint orders using the base and colourant recipe.
- Managing the sales orders to ensure the correct pricing is used for the order quantity.
**What we are looking for in our Sales Administrator**:
- Educated to GCSE standard as a minimum
- Previous experience of Office Administration
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Confident in speaking to customers on the telephone
- Organisation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- A flexible approach to work
