**Reporting Line**:
Business Analysist Consultants report to the Head of Service Delivery for line management and to the appropriate Client Delivery Director for specific client assignments.?

**Job Brief**:
Predominantly home based with travel to client site / Head Office in Poole Dorset?

As an Illuminet Business Analyst Consultant you will be client facing.

Working closely with clients, Project Managers, Illuminets Sales, Client Delivery Directors and associates, you will provide support and expertise in both pre-sales and delivery.As such, the Business Analyst supports Illuminets ability to achieve or exceedgrowth targets in revenue and profitability.

This is a key role within the Consulting Team, working to capture the business?needs and identify solutions to?business?problems.Engaging with and inspiring the client, studying the business model, examining workflows and technological systems.You will prepareandpresent recommendations for the client or Project Manager that will improve business efficiency.Solutions may include processmapping and improvement, organisational change, or strategic planning and policy development.

When not on a client contract you will be working within the Illuminet team to help innovate and move our internal products and processes forward to stay ahead of the market.?

- Strong business analysis skills, with an attention to detail, whilst remainingpragmatic to and get the job done.
- Innate curiosity and a desire to understand what the client is trying to achieve and help them to work out how.
- Good relationship builder, able to communicate effectively at all levels, verbally, written and in person.
- Ability to sit between the business and IT teams communicating with both to drive common understanding and objectives.
- Able to build personal credibility, becoming trusted advisor to client business teams.
- Excellent organisational skills including and the ability to meet deadlines, whilst remaining responsive to changes.
- Willing to work hands on to deliver outcomes as required.
- Self-motivatedwith a tenacity and commitment to see things through to successful completion.
- Able to work as part of a team or independently.
- Travel to client offices and to Illuminet locations when required.
- A good business acumen with an ability to spot and promote opportunities for improvement.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Minimum of 3 years working within Business Analysis.
- Solid business and data analytical skills.
- Technically proficient in MS products includingPowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
- Facilitate effective meetings and workshops to obtain requirements.
- An understanding of project management terminology and practices including Agile and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of 2 or more of SAP, RPA, workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, PowerBI, and Dynamics 365 is desirable.?
- Sector knowledge in the following areas an advantage; Utilities, Retail/Supply chain, Insurance/Financial services, Information Technology, Technology.??
- Policy and process design experience.
- Problem solver.
- Excellent written English skills.
- An understanding of ITIL is desirable.
- Degree level education an advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identifying and clarifying business needs and objectives.
- Analysing and defining functional and non-functional requirements.
- Deliver business analysis documents to required formats, standards and deadlines.
- Ensuring document review and signoff by client happens.
- Requirements management and communication.
- Assisting with business case development.
- Using requirements to drive the design and review of use cases.
- Identify the level of risk.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Adherence to Illuminet Behaviors.

**Governance and Compliance**
- Contribution to the development of the company’s policies, processes, procedures, products and services being delivered by Illuminet.
- Contribution to creation of client facing collateral for marketing or delivery purposes.
- Identify talented, skilled practitioners that can join the Illuminet Business Network.
- Helping to develop the Illuminet Business Network value to Associates/Suppliers and to illuminet.
- Produce regular project reportsforIlluminet and the client.
