**Full Job Description**

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**

Managing the admissions process from initial enquiry to the Student/Player joining DRGN Academy. This includes maintaining relevant records and data; correspondence regarding enquiries, hold zoom/teams meetings with students, meeting and touring prospective parents/players; and advising Head of Recruitment and Admissions, Head of Education and Head of Welfare and other senior staff on admissions matters.

**Admissions & Recruitment Strategy**
- Frequent and personal contact with all enquirers/ families and students
- Build and maintain excellent relationships, and regular and personal contact, with a range of educational consultants and agents.
- Effective customer care during the admissions process.
- Ensure that prospective parents and pupils immediately feel a part of the DRGN community by being updated continually throughout the enrolment process.

**International Recruitment**
- Drive recruitment from existing and new countries as appropriate.
- Proactive approach to enquiry management, follow up and ensure high conversion rate.
- Excellent understanding of the Academy course offer.
- Wider knowledge of the Academy and Student/Player opportunities.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with current educational partners - communicating, liaising, reviewing processes regularly.
- Be prepared to travel if required.
- Attend all Admissions/Career events.
- Ensure all new parent and Student/Player’s enrolment forms are kept up to date in liaison with relevant staff.
- Working with The Head of Education to ensure students meet entry requirements.
- Monitor current and future player databases, ensure effective communication with all departments within the Academy on new players/ arrivals.

**Internal Admissions & Office Administration**
- Ensure the Player Handbook is up-to-date and fit for purpose, and signed copies are obtained and kept.
- Maintain prospective student files.

**As a Member of the DRGN Football Academy Community**
- Contribute to the academy community, to support its distinctive mission and ethos and to encourage its staff and Students/Players to follow this example.
- To take an active part, with all members of staff, in ensuring good relations are made with all members of the local and wider community and that the Academy is always promoted positively;
- Be familiar with the Academy Safeguarding policy and comply with its requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of all Students/Players.
- Comply with the Academies Health & Safety policy and undertake risk assessments as appropriate.
- Engage actively in the performance management review process.
- Take part in the Academies staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development.

**Essential Criteria**
- A commitment to, and ability to deliver, outstanding customer care for all prospective families/students/players throughout the admissions process.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good planning and organisational skills and a flexible approach to the management of work.
- Advanced user of ICT in particular all elements of Microsoft office and outlook.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with resilience in a busy and sometimes demanding environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
- Willing and able to adapt a flexible approach to working hours.
- A good sense of humour
- A commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of Students/Players.
- Able to work with a global diverse client base.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience of working in the admissions process in an educational setting.
