The purpose of Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council (EVOC) is to support, promote, develop and represent the Third Sector. ECOV play a key role in supporting new and innovative ways of working for Third Sector organisations and community groups withinEdinburgh. EVOC actively promotes, participates in, and contributes to partnership working between the voluntary, public, private and community sectors at a local and national level.
EVOC provides leadership, development support and advocacy in the planning, shaping and delivery of services and support in communities. Any combination of these three essential elements which EVOC delivers is unique. EVOC’s mission is to be a leader andcatalyst of social change. They are also one of three partners making up Edinburgh’s TSI, alongside Volunteer Edinburgh and Edinburgh Social Enterprise. They are also a part of the wider TSI Scotland Network - a network of all Third Sector Interfaces in Scotland.
The Head of Financial Resources will be someone with experience in financial reporting, ideally within the charity sector on either a paid or voluntary capacity. You will have a degree in accountancy or be working towards this. The Head of Financial Resourceswill be a creative problem solver and decision maker. We are looking for someone who is a great team player
