**Job Title**: Dental Receptionist (Specialist Practice)

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Schedule appointments, manage follow-up care, and maintain patient records efficiently.
- Handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Ensure the reception area is well-organised, welcoming, and reflective of the high standards of the practice.
- Manage patient payments, including Denplan claims and other financial transactions.
- Proficient use of office equipment and dental practice management software (EXACT/Software of Excellence).

**Mandatory Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly suited to a professional, patient-focused environment.
- Friendly and professional demeanour with excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in EXACT/Software of Excellence.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and confidentiality.
- Competency with office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in managing patient payments and Denplan insurance claims.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous experience in a specialist or private dental practice.
- Familiarity with sales, marketing, or patient follow-up care.
- Efficient time management, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Awareness of high-end service expectations and practice aesthetics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 - 50 per week
