**Job description**

**We are hiring for causal Bartenders for our Lobby bar.**

We are looking for enthusiastic and confident individual to become part of our Lobby bar team here in Holiday Inn MediaCityUK.

**The job position consists of working afternoon/evening shifts on a part-time basis - we are flexible with our offer and we can offer between 20 and 30 hours per week.**

We are looking for team members who can commit themselves to varying shifts across the whole week, as well as flexibility in terms of the hours that they work, have the ability to work as a team and work at a fast pace.

In return, our management team is going to help you develop your skills and grow your career.

**Job role**
- Taking orders and serving guests in our Lobby bar area
- Pouring pints, preparing hot and cold drinks
- Ensuring that all guests experience an outstanding level of service throughout their stay
- Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
- Engage, build and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately
- Being attentive to all guests and looking for opportunities to up-sell and make recommendations to enhance their experience
- Responding promptly to guest complaints and finding ways to turnaround any negative feedback
- Keeping up to date with hotel facilities, promotions and the local market area, so as to be able to effectively assist guests
- Looking for ways to deliver continuous improvements to the guest experience.

- Customer service abilities and confidence
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience is desirable, but not essential
- Great communication skills
- Attention to details and attentiveness to the guests needs
- Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Hard-working
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive and flexible approach to work - weekend and evening work will be required, so staff members need to be able to work past the finishing times of the public transport.

**Holiday inn MediaCity UK is a vibrant in the Salford Quays media hub, with easy access to Old Trafford Stadium and city centre. The hotel consist of 218 guests rooms, 3 meeting rooms, 1 private dining room, restaurant which is due to reopen in September, lobby bar, which serves Starbucks drinks and 24-hours reception.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
