**Job description**

**We are hiring for causal Bartender for our Lobby bar for part-time hours - 12-20h per week.**

**Please note this is a permanent position, so the job won't be suitable for people who look for a seasonal job.**

We are looking for enthusiastic and confident individual to become part of our Lobby bar team here in Holiday Inn MediaCityUK.

**The job position consists of working afternoon/evening shifts**

**Please note that finishing times can vary - between 11.30pm and 2am, so being able to commute past the finishing times of public transport is essential.**

We are looking for team members who can commit themselves to varying shifts across the whole week, as well as flexibility in terms of the hours that they work, have the ability to work as a team and work at a fast pace.

**Job role**
- Taking orders and serving guests in our Lobby bar area
- Pouring pints, preparing hot and cold drinks
- Ensuring that all guests experience an outstanding level of service throughout their stay
- Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
- Engage, build and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately
- Being attentive to all guests and looking for opportunities to up-sell and make recommendations to enhance their experience
- Responding promptly to guest complaints and finding ways to turnaround any negative feedback
- Keeping up to date with hotel facilities, promotions and the local market area, so as to be able to effectively assist guests
- Looking for ways to deliver continuous improvements to the guest experience.

- Experience is desirable, but not essential

- Attention to details and attentiveness to the guests needs
- Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive and flexible approach to work - weekend and evening work will be required, so staff members need to be able to work past the finishing times of the public transport.

**Holiday inn MediaCityUK is a vibrant in the Salford Quays media hub, with easy access to Old Trafford Stadium and city centre. The hotel consist of 218 guests rooms, 3 meeting rooms, 1 private dining room, restaurant which is due to reopen in September, lobby bar, which serves Starbucks drinks and 24-hours reception.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
