**The opportunity**:
You will be accountable for developing and driving the performance of the used vehicle sales team, with a key focus on achieving circa 150 retail units sales per month whilst ensuring your team deliver an industry leading finance penetration & attachment product sales. You will also play a key role in supporting the Sales Manager to ensure colleagues remain motivated, engaged & developed. This is a fantastic prospect for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales professional currently working within a similar role to support the Management team in maintaining momentum within the sales department. In addition to being able to demonstrate the required previous experience, you must see Customer Satisfaction as a key metric.

Previous experience in used vehicle sales within the automotive industry is essential, and we are looking for a colleague who has either been or currently is in a Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager role to lead an incredibly successful team in this well-established dealership.

It is essential you are passionate about developing the business and know how to get the best out of a team. As well as being a forward thinker and strong leader, you must also operate to the highest standards and champion best practice throughout. This is an excellent chance to draw on the experience and skill sets of your team whilst putting your own stamp on the business.

**About You**:

- A proven track record in the automotive industry at similar role is essential;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels;
- A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, although full training will be given;
- Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives;
- FCA accreditation (which can be achieved within the dealership); and
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
