To ensure all guests are received in a #Be Authentic manner and our culture and values are presented every day. To make sure the front of house is efficiently managed to the standards of which Network Rail expect. This role is diverse between front of house and administrate tasks; this will require you to be proactive and efficient in your delivery to create a smooth daily operation.
**General**:
- To represent Signature and Network Rail in a proficient, professional and personal manner at all times.
- To ensure appearance is maintained to our grooming standards.
- To attend any training sessions requested by the management team.
- To assist all guests and Network Rail clients with any reasonable requests.
- Liaising with Cleaners, Security & Management to ensure the site is operating smoothly.
- Provide emergency support as Fire Marshal & First Aider.
- Complete SIA Security Guard license training.
- Complete daily building patrols.
- Support with access barrier control.
- Organising taxi service.
- To report any faults or health and safety concerns to the relevant person or department.
- To comply with Signature standards for absences/ sickness.
- Provide a welcoming Welcome all Network Rail guest at the main entrance
- Being the first point of contact at the reception desk while always maintaining a professional and helpful attitude.
- Classroom checks for day 1 events, checking layout and event needs.
- Selling and processing food vouchers.
- Supporting with meeting room booking.
- Complete daily Vehicle checks
- To sign in visitors and delegates for their events, issuing the health and safety brief.
- Effective management of administrative tasks such as, but not restricted to; monthly visitor figures, no show report, stock take of audio-visual equipment, internal auditing and staff passes report.
- Receiving daily parcel deliveries and ensuring the recipient is made aware.
- Proactively assisting with any client events.
- Weekly stock checks and ordering of required stationary to maintain supplies for front of house.
- To provide training for new and temporary team members.
- Ensuring all Network Rail Signature health and safety posters and leaflets are up to date and relevant.
- Maintain up to date health and safety folders, with direction from the front of house manager.
**Telephony**
- To answer the telephone within a timely manner using the agreed greeting.
- To transfer all calls in an efficient, professional and personal manner.
***Security**
- To remain constantly aware of security and report or act upon any suspicious event or person.
- To regularly liaise with the Building security/ onsite Building Manager to ensure we are aware of an issues/risks that may affect the office.
**Person Specification**
- SIA Licenced (preferable)
- Flexible and proactive
- Passionate about exceptional customer service.
- Experienced in Front of House or Reception ideally gained within a corporate or 5 Star hotel environment.
- Ability to build positive relations with colleagues, guests and clients.
- Able to interact with all levels of personnel, including Senior Executives within the client organisation.
- Able to work off their own initiative and with mínimal direction.
- Confidently able to manage emergency situations and make decisions as required.
- Strong team player with a commitment to support their colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptionally organised and skilled in multi-tasking.
- High attention to detail.
- Working knowledge and competent in the use of Microsoft Office software
- An understanding of Audio Visual and IT syste
