**Could you use your storytelling and communications skills to help make a difference to the lives of young people, adults and families living with Huntington's disease?**

Huntington's Disease Association is the only organisation across England and Wales offering support to people affected by Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is a life-limiting, genetic disorder that causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brainand leads to symptoms affecting three main areas: movement, behaviour and cognition.
- Salary: £30k _
- Location: Hybrid working from Liverpool/home_
- Hours: 35 per week full-time_
- Open to flexible working requests, including 4 days_

**About the charity**:
HDA raises awareness and provides specialist services to help people and families seriously affected by Huntington's disease. Their vital work includes advice and support, training to health and social care professionals and funding research. We want a betterlife for anyone affected by Huntington's disease.
- To help HDA do this, you'll engage with individuals who want to help and support people living with Huntington's disease. _

**About the role**:
Individual giving is a targeted area of growth for the charity, looking to build on previous success. Working in a small, friendly fundraising team, you'll develop and deliver an individual giving programme that prioritises exceptional stewardship journeysfor supporters.

Using storytelling and communication skills, you'll be given creative freedom to raise money across direct marketing and appeals, in memory, lottery, regular and payroll giving, gifts in wills and membership schemes.

**About you**:
This role would suit either a **_fundraising, communications, direct marketing, campaigns or volunteering _**professional looking to develop their skills in new and exciting ways.

You're a highly organised, detailed-focused individual who understands how to use data and analytics to reach audiences intelligently and intentionally.

You're a storyteller; someone who teases out information to create powerful, impactful copy across a range of communications channels.

You enjoy communicating with people. Your signature style is warm, friendly and engaging.
