We are looking for an assistant psychologist with enthusiasm and skills to join our Kensington and Chelsea CAMHS team. Working collaboratively with members of the team, the successful applicant will contribute to assessment and intervention for children and young people with emotional needs, and will have a special role in setting up and running groups.

Working collaboratively with members of the KCCAMHS team, contributing to assessment and intervention for children and young people with emotional needs, setting up and running groups for young people and for parents.

Kensington and Chelsea CAMHS is a busy out-patient and outreach service for children and young people (CYP) up to the age of 18, with a multi-disciplinary staff including psychiatrists, nurses, psychotherapists, family therapists and psychologists. There are several sub-teams in the service. This post is based in the Emotional Disorders sub-Team (EDT)

KCCAMHS is located in the same building as an in-patient service for pre-adolescent children, in London W8 5LP (closest underground station is Kensington High Street)

KEY RESULT AREAS

**Clinical**:
1. Administration and analysis of Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs).
2. Make well-being calls to parents of CYP, awaiting assessment or intervention.
- Assist in assessment and treatment of CYP, either face-to-face or remotely.
- In collaboration with other team member/s, set up and run regular groups for CYP and for parents, either face-to-face or remotely.
- Participate in new service development, as appropriate.

**IT responsibilities**:
1. To maintain compliance with the highest standards of Information Governance.

2.To enter and retrieve data as required into the System 1 and other patient records systems.
1. To maintain personal records including clinical observations, test and research results and work records in computerised and manual forms.
2. To enter data into spreadsheets including statistical programmes and to carry out statistical processing of data, as directed, when necessary and appropriate.
3. To assist in development, preparation and maintenance of appropriate databases, as necessary and appropriate.
