**Interim COO (6-7 month contract)**

**Salary £85-£90,000 FTE**

**Hours - full time, to start ASAP**

Our client is an international not-for-profit consultancy whose work focusses on shaping and strengthening education systems.

Currently going through a period of structured change, the CEO is looking for an experienced COO to lead both 'business as usual' across all aspects of their operations, including finance, HR, internal comms and governance, whilst also taking the lead in driving the wider organisational and people transformation agenda, in line with their new 3 year strategy and business plans.

Working closely with the CEO, SMT and parent company you will be key in ensuring the smooth delivery of objectives across the organisation and will help provide stability to operations within changing contexts, as well as clarity on processes, ways of working and roles and responsibilities across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will need demonstrable experience of working at COO level, including successfully leading operational change management, and the development of organisational culture and values.

You will be capable of and enjoy maintaining control of diverse business operations (including proven ability to lead financial management), be an experienced and efficient leader and manager, be responsive and resilient to respond to changing needs of staff and the organisation and have the people skills to quickly establish credibility and trust.

With an international remit, prior experience of working within a global context/across a range of geographies would be desirable.
