**_Position Overview_**
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics/Maximo User prefferable, responsible for the day-to-day furniture portering and mail services for our client based in, East Kilbride. This position calls for a highly organised team player, who is confident in making decisions and leading by example to achieve the highest standard of work within a busy corporate environment.
**_Main Duties_**
- Coordinating with all other services lines to ensure a seamless service is delivered to the customer
- Monitoring of customer activities via the visitor management system, such as room bookings, training events etc. to ensure proactive management of all logistics needs
- Ensure that information held on the CAFM system is accurate
- Ensure all jobs on the Open Job Report are completed in a timely manner and in line with the SLA
- Raising Purchase Orders
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Development of positive working relationships between the logistics team and other service lines
- Support the Continuous Improvement programme and identify opportunities to drive service improvements
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environment
- Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions and report these on Eco Online
- The ability to manage fluctuating work demands.
- Assist with development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, Risk Assessments and SOP's
- Develop delivery and collection schedules and maintain accurate file records
- Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
- Assist with any additional administrative tasks
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Resolve any arising problems or client complaints
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of the monthly post & courier reports
**_Person Specification_**
- Minimum of a years' experience in logistics services
- IT literate in MS Office
- Experience in dealing with contract management, sub-contractors and supply chain
- Experience of successful process management
- Experience in waste handling and environmental management
- Previous experience working for public service sector client
- Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH
- Continuously pursue high standards, embrace change, recognise improvement opportunities and learn from experience.
