**Purpose of job**: To support the Sites HR function in all elements of recruitment, policies, procedures, performance management and employee wellbeing for the Sites Network, which will provide suitably skilled and motivated employees to meet the Club’s long term business needs.
The HR Advisor will have direct line management experience for two administrators within the team.
**Key Tasks/Accountabilities**:
- To oversee and assist where required the new starter process including collating new employee files, sending offer packs, issuing of contracts, following up relevant administration, including eligibility to work in the UK documentation and references
- To oversee and assist with managing the administration around the leaver process, including exit interviews (farewell meetings) for Facility and Network employees, as required
- To assist with filling of Network Support staff to fill ad hoc temporary positions for the Sites Network where required
- To work with the Regional Managers on resourcing strategies and make recommendations for employee shortage solutions
- To oversee and assist with collating and preparing information for Site Manager Selection ensuring accuracy to provide the HR Manager, Head of Sites Operations and Regional Managers with the necessary details to resource the sites network appropriately each year.
- To oversee and assist the administrators with ensuring the SAP system is kept up-to-date and that accurate electronic personnel files are maintained for the network and information is relevant.
- To assist the Senior HR Advisor and HR Manager with planning and implementing SAP HCM knowledge sharing and competency across other areas of the HR team. Provide support, guidance and training where necessary to other members of staff on the SAP HCM system, when required, to mitigate errors and issues
- To work with the HR Manager to ensure all HR related policies are regularly reviewed, amended and available on the Intranet for employee reference
- To support Regional Managers and network employees in all aspects of employee welfare, performance, development and progression, attending sites as and when required
- To liaise with the Club’s Occupational Health providers as required. Provide advice to managers and manage records accordingly
- To liaise with the Health & Safety Department to ensure any Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) cases are managed and reported in line with legislation
- To regularly review HR administration processes with the HR Manager to ensure the department is working at the optimum efficiency and effectiveness at all times and discuss possible recommendations for improvements
- To deputise for the Senior HR Advisor and/or HR Manager as and when required.
- To assist the Senior HR Advisor and/or HR Manager with induction and training events throughout the year ensuring all employees are receiving relevant training.
**Essential Skills & Experience Required**:
- Hold a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or have the equivalent experience
- Demonstrate HR advisory knowledge and experience of managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance and performance processes
- Good knowledge and understanding of employment law
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adopt a process and analytical approach to tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail
- A high level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others and is consistent, open and honest
- A proactive approach to work and problem solving, and the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur
- Knowledge of SAP and G Suite
- Open to always learning new processes and ways of working
- Regular travel and overnight stays will be required across the UK, so a full clean driving licence is required
Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
