Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head Office Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team based in Barlborough, Chesterfield.
**The Role**
**We are looking for a newly qualified Accountant to work within our dynamic and fast paced Group finance team.**

Joining the team as our Head Office Management Accountant, you will be required to be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or coming to the end of your studies. You should be able to demonstrate some relevant experience in a similar role.
**Key duties and requirements**
- Overall responsibility for production of monthly Head Office Management accounts.
- Review and oversight of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsibility for analysis of overhead spend and sales and marketing costs, against agreed budgets.
- Preparation of monthly Head Office cash forecast.
- Preparation of annual budget and bi-annual forecasts for the Head Office cost centre.
- Monthly P&L Reporting.
- Preparation of year end Head Office audit files and supporting schedules.
- Responsibility for preparation and review of monthly Group VAT Return.
- Management and Development of 1 direct report.
- Tracking and co-ordinating of costs relating to legacy assets and investment properties held.
- Providing support to the Group Finance team as required.

Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, this is an ideal opportunity to support a value adding Group finance function whilst also offering the opportunity for progression and development.
To be considered for this role you must also possess -- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate/advanced level Excel skills
- Enthusiasm and energy for the role.
- Good working knowledge of Month end processes
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
