**Job Purpose**

To help maintain high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the kitchen by cleaning all kitchenware to the required standard and carrying out any cleaning duties.

**Outline of Key Responsibilities**
- Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
- Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
- All equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and end of shifts
- Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
- Arrange equipment and ingredients deliveries
- Storage must be organised so that all ingredients are easily accessible
- Able to help chefs during service, with quick response to equipment and products they may need
- Follow and thoroughly complete a daily & weekly cleaning schedule, to be checked by a manager before sign off
- Respond to any changes in the club as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or club operation
- Multitask and help the team if needed

**General Responsibilities**
- To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, to meet business demands and guest service needs
- To attend training sessions when required
- To be a team player by helping colleagues and being positive
- To adhere to company practices and procedures at all times
- To ensure good communication with all colleagues, supervisors and the kitchen team
