**Lincolnshire County Council** is looking to appoint an **Engagement Officer** to join our communications and engagement team.

**About the Role**
Effective community engagement is vital to ensure local outcomes are what people need in making Lincolnshire a great place to live and thrive. We have a wide range of communities among **Lincolnshire's 750,000 residents.** We need to make sure they have the opportunities to contribute to decisions shaping their local services and communities.
You will take an active role in **planning and coordinating** engagement and consultation activities, ensuring that residents, service users and stakeholders have opportunity to respond, utilising multiple channels and a range of inclusive methods to reach diverse voices, including disadvantaged and hard to reach groups.
**About You**
You will have **experience of working in a similar role** with an understanding of engagement methods, relationship building, consultation and best practice methods. You will be a **skilled communicator** with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to **mange and influence** multiple working relationships at all levels. Able to demonstrate **analytical skills** and generate intelligence which supports decision making in an engaging report writing style. You will be **flexible, and well organised **often working to tight deadlines **across multiple projects**. Above all else you will have a **positive solution focused approach** with a **“can do” approach **with the passion for working with people with the **drive and ambition to succeed.**
