Page Group is proud to have partnered with a large engineering company based in South Wales. Due to a recent growth in market share, our client is looking to expand their planning team in Swansea.

My client is a well-established engineering company based in Swansea.

**Description**

You will plan and forecast the weekly production cycles using our ERP system and other systems and ensure that customer requirements for product delivery are met, within agreed lead times. Effectively utilize data from ERP and other systems, to effectivelyplan our production schedule, and advise lead times to the Sales and Senior Management teams. You will monitor production daily, always ensuring stock levels are correct on the ERP system. Regular and effective communication with the sales team to meet clientdelivery expectations. Weekly liaison with transport contractors is required as is the requirement to request and review their RAMS when required by our clients. Ensure that ETA's are communicated to our clients when required, and advise and agree on all deliverydates with our clients in advance of orders being dispatched. You will establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

**Profile**

In order for you to be considered for the Swansea-based Planning Coordinator, you will be able to/have relevant experience in any/all of the below:

- Develop a good understanding of component and raw material codes and 'Bills of Materials'
- Communicating short and medium-term requirements to suppliers;
- Ensuring on-time materials availability to enable 100% plan realisation;
- Management and detailed analysis of obsolete and slow-moving stocks;
- Managing suppliers;
- Liaising internally with the Logistics, Operations and Quality departments;
- Liaising with U.K. based and international suppliers, customers, and transporters;
- Experience of working in a FMCG/ pharmaceutical/automotive manufacturing environment;
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
