**Shipping & Logistics Coordinator**

**Scope**:
Our client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator. This company offers a wonderful opportunity for development and career progression. **Responsibilities**:
- Pack, prepare and ship samples (biological, chemical, radioactive etc), equipment and products globally, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and transport regulations by air, road and sea
- Dispatch shipments ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and meets Health and Safety standards
- Ensure that materials with special handling, storage, or distribution requirements (such as hazardous shipments and temperature sensitive material) are properly tracked and monitored
- Ensure accuracy of data in the inventory system including location, quantity on hand, value etc
**About You**:
- **Driving License is highly preferred due to multiple site locations**:
- Previous experience shipping from a warehousing, logistics or laboratory stores environment
- An understanding of materials management processes, including exposure to relevant H&S processes and the use of stock and inventory systems
- Proficient in data capture and analysis activities using various software packages
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels and the confidence to make decisions
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable and clear attention to detail
- Proactive, hard-worker with great communication skills
- Able to collaborate with other teams and suppliers and deliver results
- IATA & / or ADR certification is advantageous however nice full training is funded and provided.
**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
