**Shifts: Monday to Thursday Night Shift - 6pm to 6am**

An opportunity has arisen for a team player with a strong work ethic to join our Production Team working in our potato packing factory in Epworth near Doncaster

Job Title**:Night Shift General Operative**

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (6pm to 6am) Monday to Thursday

Basic hourly rate £13.02 includes night shift premium

**Job Overview**:

**Night Shift General Operative Primary Duties & Responsibilities to include**:

- To carry out the preparation of orders accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality level.
- Sorting and packing potatoes for supply to retail and service industries
- Assisting with the production and dispatch of customer orders
- You will be required to undertake packing and stacking duties which will involve completing manual handling tasks and duties safely
- Working to achieve the targets and job standards set out by Line Leaders / Managers
- Reporting any issues or problems to the Line Leader / Production Manager
- Maintaining clean and tidy work area
- Maintaining high levels of, Food Safety, Quality and Health and Safety standards

**Night Shift General Operative Requirements**:
Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn new skills

Excellent focus and attention to detail

Duties involve standing and regular repetitive light, medium to heavy lifting.

The ability to follow instructions and concentrate while doing repetitive tasks

A good understanding of basic English; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing.

To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team

To comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times

**Initial training may take place on the Day Shift (6am to 6pm) before moving on to the Night Shift.**

Basic hourly rate £13.02 includes night shift premium

Overtime available at £15.94
