We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our company and work in the Extrusion team.

**Role**: A position has become available for a General Operative to join the team and ensure the manufactured products meet the required quality standards, maintain and facilitate the removal and packaging of the production from the machine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the production line is running correctly and efficiently throughout the shift and report any issues to Supervisors/Management
- Monitor the performance of the extrusion machine ensuring minimum scrap level is achieved at all times
- Ensure that all aspects of H&S policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment to a high standard
- You will be required to stand for long periods with some manual handling duties.

**Hours of work**: This is shift work:

- 4 on 4 off days & nights. Shift patterns are 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00_

**Rate of pay is £10.65 per hour with an extra £2.50 per hour for hours worked between 10:00pm-6:00am.**

**Salary**: £10.65 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doncaster, DN12 1ES: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- General Operative: 1 year (preferred)
- Extrusion: 1 year (preferred)
